Volleyball Otago offers a competitive league for clubs and teams to play competitive volleyball right here in Dunedin. This league runs throughout the winter months, being played on weeknights over 8-10 weeks at the Edgar Centre. The level of volleyball is competitive yet fun, with a great atmosphere among teams.
Season Dates
The 2023 Winter League season will run for 8 weeks from 27th June to 25th August, played on Tuesday nights at the Edgar Centre. The competition will feature a 7-week round robin, followed by a single week of finals, crowning our Men’s and Women’s winners at the completion of the season.
Entries
The cost of entry for the 2023 season is $360 per team, payable prior to the commencement of the season.
Refereeing
Paid work is available as a referee of the Winter League, if you are a regionally qualified referee (or higher) and wish to be paid to referee this league, please get in contact with our operations manager at: operations@volleyballotago.nz
