Representative Volleyball in Otago occurs in the first half of the calendar year, where representative teams work towards the national inter-provincial championships, hosted each year over King’s Birthday weekend. Otago has a strong presence on the representative level, with both girls’ and boys’ teams often represented across all divisions (U17, U19, U23 and Opens). Our representative teamsm train and play together, often against other South Island associations in the leadup to IPCs, where they battle with the best teams from associations all around the country.
For 2025, our representative teams will be attending the following two tournaments:
- Lower South Island Tournament (5-6th April in Invercargill)
- Inter-Provincial Championships (31 May- 2 June in Wellington)
